This private residential project is located in Folkestone, United Kingdom. The client was looking to decorate a closed fireplace and had a strong preference for early 17th-century Delft tile designs. Rather than sourcing antique originals, she opted for high-quality, hand-painted reproductions.
The P-24 series by Poarte proved to be the perfect match. Featuring tulip motifs in diamond-shaped panels with elegant ‘lily’ corner motifs, this series reflects the charm and symmetry of early Delft tilework. The result is a timeless and decorative installation that brings historic character to a contemporary home.
