Ivory is the lightest of three subtle ivory tones we offer, designed to bring a contemporary elegance to any space. With its soft and refined character, Ivory stands beautifully on its own or can be combined with the other tones – Ivory 1 and Ivory 2 – in the Ivory Mix to create a delicate and harmonious blend.
This shade is an excellent choice for those seeking a modern interpretation of Delft tiles. Its understated warmth and subtle tone variations make it equally suited for use in plain white installations or as a base for our hand-painted decorated series.
Pinholes in the corners; pinholes are a hallmark of traditional tile production methods, replicating the small indentations left by stabilizing pins during the cutting process before 1860. By including two pinholes in each tile, we enhance the authentic and timeless character of this shade.
Crackled finish; crazing, or fine surface cracks, can be added to create the aged appearance characteristic of antique tiles. This optional crackled finish enhances the depth and texture of Ivory, adding a layer of charm that speaks to its timeless appeal.
