Poarte’s hand-painted Delft Tiles featured in The New York Times
Delft tiles in the home of Succession actor David Rasche
We are thrilled to share that our hand-painted Delft tiles, crafted by Poarte, have found their way to the beautiful home of David Rasche – best known for his role as Karl in HBO’s hit series Succession – and his wife, Heather Rasche, in Maplewood, New Jersey. Their home was recently featured in The New York Times, highlighting a warm and inviting interior filled with craftsmanship, character, and timeless details.
A unique Delft tile installation
For this project, we created a 165 sq. ft. (15m²) Delft tile installation, based on our newly made plain white Delft tiles in the ‘colourful mix’. To add a unique touch, small animal scenes from our P-1 series were randomly interspersed throughout the design, creating a balance between traditional Dutch artistry and contemporary living.
The result is a stunning, custom tilework that seamlessly blends into the home’s aesthetic.
